TERMS:

The following terms and conditions apply to the sale of all products supplied by CONTAP INDUSTRIE PTY LTD ( ABN 52 065 525 386 ) and associated principal Companies, all of which referred to as “The Company”

1, GENERAL:

Goods are normally dispatched within one week of receipt of order ex-Sydney warehouse.
The company will endeavor to advise the buyer of any delays in delivery by email or telephone within two days of receipt of order.
Goods must be installed by a licensed Plumber, otherwise warranty is void.

2, RETURN OF GOODS / CREDIT CLAIMS:

Goods will not be returned without prior approval of company and at the expense of the buyer
The Company shall be advised in writing for return within 7 working days of receipt of goods with complete details such as Invoice No. Date of purchase, and full description of the damage goods.
The Buyer shall bear all risks until the company acknowledge receipt of Goods.
Any credit allowed shall only be for the current Goods in a good resalable condition and shall be subject to a replacement only.
Goods ordered incorrectly will attract a 25% handling / restocking Fee.
The company reserves the right to disallow any credit claims for damaged goods made later than (10) days from date of dispatch.
Goods supplied as “Special” (Not stocked as standard item) or made to Buyers specification shall not be accepted for return without prior arrangements
The company shall not accept any claims for defective goods without inspection and satisfaction of the company.
Defective goods shall be sent to company by authorized carrier where at the company’s discretion goods shall be replaced, repaired or credited to buyers account.

3, INSPECTION OF GOODS DELIVERED:

The Buyer shall examine the products after delivery of goods, and report any damages or miss delivery within 7 Days after the date of delivery.

4, LIABELITY:

The Company shall not be liable or responsible for any loss, damage, injury to property or person resulting from supply of the goods, and until its established to satisfaction of the company that goods are defective due to fault in manufacture or materials. The company’s liability ( if any )shall, to the extent permitted by Trade practices Act. 1974, be limited in absolute discretion of the company and discharged by the one of the following.
/ The replacement of the goods or supply of equivalent.
/ The repair of product.
/ A Price reduction by way of a credit.

5, THE Buyer AGREES TO THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS:

/ The seller is not liable for any recommendations and or advice given by its staff for suitability.
/ The seller will not be liable for any defects, loss or damages

The Company shall endeavour to effect delivery at the time requested by The Buyer but failure to do so, shall not confer a right cancellation or refusal of delivery on The Buyer or render The Company liable for any damages directly or indirectly sustained by The Buyer as a result thereof.

6, SERVICE CALLS

I The event of a service call being requested and it found that
! The product is not of the Company’s manufacture
! If Faulty installation has occurred,
Then a service Fee of $120.00 will be charged, any work performed will be at $60.00 per
Half hour.

7, INSPECTION OF GOODS DELIVERED

/ The Buyer shall exam in the products after delivery and the Company shall not be
responsible for
any miss delivery, shortage, defect or damage to the product unless the Buyer notifies the
Company thereof within ( 7 ) days after the date of delivery.

8, CONSUMER WARRANTY:

Goods are covered under Warranty when used for normal use. Defects caused by improper use, improper installation or failure to observe any of the following will not be covered by Warranty.
! Proof of purchase be provided.
! To comply with manufacturers installation instructions
! Damage caused by environmental elements.
! Use of cleaning agents with abrasives and other chemicals.
! Cleaning care in accordance to manufacturers cleaning instructions.
! Tapware and Mixers expose to water pressures and temperatures exceeding the following Limits.
Maximum: Pressure – 500kpa & Temperature – 80 degrees
Minimum: Pressure – 150kpa & Temperature – 1 degree.
NOTE: As per AS/NZS 3500.1:2003 ( Clause 3.3.4 ) specifies that the maximum operating pressure at any outlet, other than a fire service outlet, within a building does not exceed 500kpa.

! Damage caused by particles due to improper flushing system before use.
! Other devices fitted to the outlet of Tapware such as water filter or use of unapproved flow regulator.
